Hundreds of Trees Planted to Support Green Program

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency (PPKUKM) 's Metrology Management Unit planted trees at its office in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

There were 278 trees consisted manggo, tabebuya, ketapang golden, star fruit, longan, red and yellow palm, soka and Japanese jasmine.

Nurhidayat, Unit Head, said the program was held to support green program in Jakarta.

"The progam is held to support green program and pursue zero emission in 2060 in Jakarta," he said, Tuesday (1/16).

According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government commits to handle climate change and air pollution in Jakarta. One of the programs is planting trees.

"It's also our effort to anticipate climate change, global warming, and air pollution," he closed.
